LLMOcheki launches AI Access Check, so you can confirm whether AI is able to read your site

Itera, Inc. (head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takayuki Muto) has begun offering AI Access Check in LLMOcheki, its tool for measuring and improving LLMO. The feature diagnoses immediately whether a website accepts AI crawlers, and is available on every plan at no additional cost.

It determines the allow/block status of 11 major AI crawlers — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini among them — with no server log analysis required.

Background: some sites are shutting AI out without knowing it

Acquisition via AI search rests on one precondition: that AI crawlers can read the site. Yet misconfigured robots.txt, or the default bot protection in a CDN or security product, blocks AI bots unintentionally more often than you might expect. When that happens, no amount of work on the content creates any chance of appearing in an AI answer.

Checking this has conventionally required analysing server logs — a high barrier to getting started for many businesses.

What AI Access Check does

One button measures your site from the outside and determines the following immediately.

1. Allow/block status for 11 major AI crawlers

It parses robots.txt to determine the status of the crawlers for ChatGPT (three of them — for training, for search and for browsing), Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Meta AI, Apple Intelligence and Common Crawl.

2. Whether llms.txt and sitemap.xml are in place

llms.txt is the file that tells AI about the structure of your site and which pages matter.

3. Whether structured data (JSON-LD) is in place

This is the foundation on which AI correctly understands information about your brand.
