Itera SNS releases first-frame locking, AI model selection, and control over video content and dialogue

On 1 April 2026, Itera, Inc. (head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Takayuki Muto) released an update to the AI video generation capability of Itera SNS, its tool for running short-form vertical video, combining three new features: first-frame locking, AI model selection, and control over video content and dialogue.

With this update, users can lock any still image as the starting point of a video, choose from more than 13 of the latest AI models, and specify the content, dialogue and scene progression in Japanese text to generate a short-form video.

The three new features

FEATURE 01 — First-frame locking Upload the still image you want as the opening frame, and AI generates a naturally moving short-form vertical video with that image locked as frame one. You can reliably produce footage that matches your intent, starting from a brand key visual or a product image.

FEATURE 02 — AI model selection Choose from more than 13 of the latest AI models — including Google Veo 3.1, the Runway Gen4 series, Kling 3.0 and MiniMax Hailuo 2.3 — according to your purpose, quality requirement and generation speed.

FEATURE 03 — Control over content and dialogue Simply describe in natural Japanese what should be said, what movement should happen and what scenes should appear, and AI generates video that follows. Narration, dialogue, background music direction and scene progression can all be controlled in detail.
