Itera SNS adds automatic compliance checking that detects and blocks violations before you post

Itera, Inc. (head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takayuki Muto) released a compliance checking capability for Itera SNS, its AI platform for generating and distributing short-form vertical video, on 30 April 2026. Before anything is posted to social media, AI automatically checks four categories — Japan’s Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, platform terms of service, and false or exaggerated claims — then blocks content that carries a violation risk and suggests corrections.

It works as an “AI legal reviewer” that guarantees the legal safety of a post even without specialist knowledge, protecting small businesses, sole traders and shop owners from legal risk they never intended to take on. In addition, when the AI publishing feature of Itera SNS generates captions and hashtags automatically, the check runs inline at the moment of generation. If a violation is detected, Claude regenerates a corrected version on the spot, making compliance a single continuous flow.

Key features

1. Four categories checked simultaneously Platform terms of service, the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, and false or exaggerated claims — all checked at once.

2. Automatic AI blocking When a violation risk is detected, the post is blocked automatically and correction suggestions are displayed.

3. Inline checking Compliance checks run in real time while AI generates captions.

4. Automatic corrected regeneration When a violation is detected, Claude immediately regenerates a compliant version of the caption.
